Zoo Fun!

The Wolfe girls had their very first visit to the National Zoo in Washington, DC this weekend! We all (Mommy and Daddy included) had such a great time. Mackenzie was the perfect age as she was so interested and excited to see all the animals. Isla also loved being strolled around and was taking in every bit of the excitement (she's a major people watcher). We saw lions, cheetahs, orangutans, zebras, gazelles, seals, the list goes on and on. The neatest were the orangutans that literally swung on ropes right above your head! Mackenzie even rode on her first carousal ride! In the beginning she wasn't too thrilled as she had no clue what was going on, but as soon as the ride started moving she got a huge smile on her face and loosened her grip just a bit. We will definitely be making many more visit to the zoo in the near future! :-)

Daddy and Isla wanted to ride too!
You can't go to DC and not expect a little traffic, especially on Memorial Day weekend. Took us over an hour just to get out of the city (I am talking 3-5 miles)! Thank goodness the girls were asleep the whole time!
