Pumpkin Patch

Today was the perfect fall day to go pumpkin pickin'! We had such a good time with MomMom and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we have a beautiful weekend so we can take Daddy and PopPop back with us! Happy Fall!

Party time!

Mackenzie has done her fair share of partying these past few weekends! Mackenzie's friend, Brandon, turned a year old and we were so honored to share in the celebration! Brandon's mommy and daddy are good friends of ours from college, and we know Mackenzie and Brandon will be the best of friends too!

Happy Birthday, Brandon!

The partying continued with Mackenzie's first Hokie tailgate! The weather was absolutely perfect and we had so much fun showing off our little hokie! We know there will be many more fun tailgates in her future!

5 months old!

Our sweet baby girl is 5 months old today! Now that Mackenzie has been apart of our lives for 5 months, we can't imagine life without her. We have watched her blossom these past few months and I must say we are loving her current stage! She is incredibly cuddly, tries to make you laugh, talks up a storm, reaches and grabs for your face, and seems to always be smiling! Happy 5 beautiful months, Mackenzie Amelia!

Peas and Carrots!

The Pediatrician gave us the go ahead to start trying solid foods! It has been such a fun family activity! I feed Kenzie as Jimmy snaps the pictures. She still isn't too sure about the whole process and most of it ends up on her face rather than in her mouth, but she LOVES sitting in her highchair! We even made up a little jingle to help cheer her on while she eats!

(Theme song to Married with Children)
"Peas and carrots, peas and carrots, go together like apples and bananas, this I tell ya Kenzie, you can't have one without the other!"

"Someone HELP me!"

"Are they serious with this stuff?"

"I'm smiling because it's over!"
We tried rice the night before and this was her reaction...

"Seriously?"

Eatin' Tootsies

Miss Mackenzie has been fascinated with her feet for the past couple of weeks. Jimmy and I were in hysterics after we caught her doing this...

Mom, I think I could put this thing in my mouth...

Oh man, I lost it

Got it!

A week in Hokie Town!

While Jimmy was out of the country on business Mackenzie and I went down to Blacksburg to visit  MomMom, PopPop, Aunt Kristin, Uncle Matt, and Bellamy. Uncle Kevman even came in for the weekend! Even though we missed Daddy, we had a BLAST!
