Happy 1st Day of Kindergarten to this little nugget! I swear this child never ceases to amaze me! Her confidence, bravery, and pure excitement for school is literally inspiring. Because of her amazing attitude, she made Jimmy and I feel so at ease with her transition to a new "big" school! In the process she even convinced us to have her ride the school bus (something she has been begging to do since she was two years old)! Our neighborhood is right next to the elementary school so we decided the 2 minute ride (literally, 2 minutes) would be ok. We are so glad we allowed her to do this as her excitement for the bus alone was just adorable! Of course the momma in me just had to double check to make sure she actually got into school ok, so I immediately hoped in the car and got there in time to watch her excitedly walk into the building!
Cheers to another great beginning! We are so very proud of you, Mackenzie Amelia (AKA kindergarten rockstar)!
