Isla Marie- 12 months

Isla had her one year appointment last week and I wanted to write a quick post about it for our "baby blog/book" record.

Isla is weighing in at 17 lbs. 10 oz (3rd percentile) and 27.5 inches (10th percentile) with her head circumstance in the 5th percentile. Yup, she is a little one, but we've known that since day one. The doctor is not worried about her being small as she is a good eater, has somewhat stayed on her curve, and well, her sister is tiny too. Isla has also been walking for a couple weeks and is now 100% on two feet, no more crawling! She absolutely loves this new skill and the ability to explore even more! She is now saying mama, dada, more, and dog.  She is still the happiest little girl with her sweet smile and adorable dimple. Her new favorite thing is to give everyone hugs. She randomly throws her arms around your neck and gives  you the best and strongest hugs. The cutest hug session was when she tackled her sister in the bathtub in order to get a few sweet hugs in. Mackenzie loved it too as she had a huge smile on her face.  Toddler-hood is definitely off to a great start!
