We are so LUCKY to say that we just got back from another great week down in the Outer Banks! Thanks to my incredibly generous parents, we were able to take the girls and our good friends the Shaws down for another fantastic week! It was our first time going in the "off season" and man, are we huge fans of going during that time of year. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was of pure relaxation! The Shaws have a little girl, Maddie, who is Mackenzie's age and a wee-one, Camilla, who is 3 months old. To say the toddlers (including Isla) had a blast would be a total understatement, and it really is a toss up on who had more fun, the kids or the adults! We beached it everyday, pooled it during the kids nap times, and even went out to lunch and dinner a few times. Besides watching the kids have an awesome time on the beach, our favorite part was when they all were in bed and it was adult time! We played card games every night and made different adult beverages to go along with the fun. Mackenzie is still talking about MomMom and PopPop's beach house and all the fun she had in the ocean and pool. Thank you Mom and Dad for yet again providing us with an awesome place to create family memories!
