Father's Day Weekend Getaway!

It's hard to even find the words to describe how amazing Jimmy is at being a husband and father. He works so unbelievably hard to provide for his family and we couldn't be more blessed to have such an amazing man in our lives. The relationship he has with his daughters is truly remarkable. I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing the huge smiles on the girls faces when he walks in the door from work, or the requests for multiple "big hugs" when he leaves. He works hard to make sure the house looks beautiful on the inside and out spending hours at a time mowing, planting, watering, trimming, fixing, you name it he is doing it (he's actually mowing the lawn as we speak!). On top of his already demanding day job he also teaches college courses at night making for 15 hour work days twice a week. Does he complain, wine, sulk...nope, NOT ONCE! And with all that on his plate, he makes sure to spend as much quality time as possible with the girls and I. Because he works so hard so we can live a beautiful life, the girls and I decided it was time to take him away on a little family adventure! Here is what we presented him with last night...

A Poem for Daddy

We love you Daddy you're the best around
so that's why we're taking you out of town!

You work so hard and rarely rest,
There's no denying that you are the best!

So pack your bags we're coming too,
Cause this weekend we're going to celebrate YOU!

Hurry up don't be slow,
Cause off to Williamsburg we go!

Love,

Mackenzie, Isla, and Lupa

Of course he was surprised and so happy to be able to get away for just a little while with his girls! We will be touring around Williamsburg, eating at a yummy seafood restaurant, and of course spending an entire day at Busch Gardens!

Thank you Jimmy for being such an amazing man in our daughters lives and in mine. We couldn't be more proud and honored to call you "ours"! Happy Father's Day Weekend!
