Week One!

Little Miss Isla is a week old and we can't believe how time is already flying by! We are adjusting wonderfully as a family of four and are loving all the quality family time we are getting to spend with one another! Mackenzie is doing great with her new housemate and shows us everyday how much she loves her baby sister. She is constantly showering her with kisses and hugs and loves touching her little feet and hands. It's amazing how much she has matured in just a week now that there is someone smaller in the house. Isla is also doing extremely well. When she's not sleeping she's eating, and is only up for a short amount of time during the day. She rarely ever cries and just seems comfortable and content. What more could we ask for?!

This past weekend Uncle Kev, Aunt Kris, Uncle Matt, Bellamy, and Beckham all came to meet Isla and play with Zie! We honestly couldn't believe that everyone was able to make the trip up especially with a 2 week old and almost 2 year old in the car (my head hurts just thinking about it!). The newborns were too cute together and of course Zie and B had an absolute blast! Zie was also thrilled to see her Uncle Kev as she crawled, hanged, and flopped all over him on the couch! He is definitely a favorite with his nieces and nephew!

If this first week is any indication of how life will be as a family of four, then we are in for one sweet ride :-)
