The Adventures of Mackenzie & Isla: Outer Banks- 2016

Two glorious weeks down at the Outer Banks of North Carolina, who could seriously ask for more?! To say we absolutely love our time down at "The Beach Ball" would be a total understatement and the two weeks we spent there in June/July were seriously amazing! The first week started with a big family reunion to celebrate my little brother's graduation! We threw a huge surprise party (and yes, he was totally surprised) to show Kev just how proud we are of all his accomplishments! The kids absolutely loved spending time with all of their aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great-grandparents! It was a week long party and we loved every second of it!

The second week consisted of MomMom and PopPop, Aunt Kris and Uncle Matt, and the grandkids. Sadly, Daddy, Uncle Kev, and Courtnie all had to return to work. This week was filled with a lot of firsts! We climbed up the Currituck Lighthouse (Mackenzie loves lighthouses and inspired us to do it), went on an awesome wild horse jeep tour, and the big girls (Bell and Kenzie) got their ear's pierced!!! We also got to celebrate the 4th of July with a big show of fireworks that all the kids stayed up for!

We are beyond blessed to be able to spend our summers down at the Outerbanks like I did as a kid, and can't thank my parents enough for creating these same great memories for our children! :-)
