First Haircut!

Today was a big day...Mackenize got her first haircut! To put it gently her hair is not the most tame. I swear it has a mind of its own and no matter how hard I try to "style" it, it does what it wants to do. We decided it was time for some professional help. We just wanted to get it cleaned up a bit and hopefully that would help it grow out better. We had no idea how she was going to react to the whole stranger cutting my hair thing, but she did fantastic! She sat all by herself, followed all the directions that the hairstylist asked of her, and acted like she had done it a million times! We love her with bangs, but the truth is they are messy and hard to style (mommy is all to familiar with this) so we decided to just give them a light trim and grow them out. She was also promised a toy after she was done which I am sure helped the process go a lot smoother. Mommy, Daddy, and Isla were all there to cheer her on! So proud of this little peanut!

She went to the Barbie's first because she fell in love with her cousin Bellamy's last week.
