Santa Sing-a-long!

Today was Mackenzie's Santa Sing-a-long at preschool and wow, was it fun! The children sang a number of Christmas songs, danced to the music, and of course rang bells! After they were finished performing they got a visit from the one and only....SANTA!!! They were all so excited when he appeared ringing his sleigh bells! He read them a story, talked to them all about how each reindeer got its names, and even did a song and dance with them! Everyone got to visit with Santa, sit on his lap, and of course tell him what they would like for Christmas! Mackenzie was so excited she literally could not stand still! She ran circles around us until it was her turn to talk to the big man in red!  Mackenzie hopped right on his lap, gave him a hug, and was very clear that she wanted "Elsa stuff" for Christmas this year (Elsa is from the movie Frozen). Isla was there too with all smiles but when it came to sitting on Santa's lap, she preferred to be in Momma's arms instead! After our visit we placed some gifts/donations under the tree for the women and children staying at a local shelter and then got to enjoy some yummy cookies and milk! What a great way to start off the holiday season!
