Isla Marie- 23 Months

Well here we are two and a half weeks away from Isla Bean's 2nd birthday! Ha, I thought the first year went fast, jokes on me! Isla is one amazing little girl and she continues to make us laugh everyday. She has an energy about her that makes you instantly want to smile. She has a love for puzzles, baby dolls, and all things having to do with the iphone/ipad. She has gotten the ipad "bug" so bad that we have started hiding these little gadgets from her. She has shown a little more interest in watching cartoons with her big sis but still doesn't care for them all too much. She would rather be skipping around the room, tinkering with different toys, or engaging in conversation and play with others. She loves giving kisses and will randomly come up to you and plant a sweet little one on your cheek. She loves everything having to do with her Daddy (she is the definition of a daddy's girl) but has no problem letting you know when she wants her momma! She loves doing chores around the house, trying out new words, and even though she seems to be her sisters shadow at times, she really is one independent little girl. On Sunday we will be having a birthday bash for both Isla and her cousin Beckham, and I can't wait to see these cuties faces when they see how neat their party is going to be! Let the celebrating begin and happy last month in your 1's, Isla! We love you!
