Isla Marie- 14 Months

What an awesome little toddler we have here! Isla just amazes us every day with her sweet personality and loving heart. She is silly, caring, easy going, mischievous, a bit of a drama queen, and quit the entertainer. She is our dancing queen as she will even dance when no music is playing. She adores her older sister and you can tell she already looks up to her in so many ways. She loves to make her laugh, play tag with her, and most of all tackle her and smother her with hugs and kisses (Mackenzie doesn't mind any of these as she is usually hysterically laughing in the process!). To show you just how sweet she is, her big sis has been really sick these past few days. Isla may not be able to say it, but she sure does show us just how much she cares for her sick sister. Anytime Mackenzie has been without her ducky Isla is right on it grabbing ducky and bringing him over to her. She also has been rubbing her back, arms, and legs, while Mackenzie lies on the couch. It’s just so heartwarming to see. Don’t get me wrong though, she is quit the drama queen. Heaven forbid if she doesn't get her way the lungs come out and she is screaming! She does crack herself up when she does this,as she knows her reaction is a bit over the top! She loves to stack blocks, clean up, feed you, play with puzzles, read books, and sing!  Her favorite meals are pizza and spaghetti, and her favorite food is avocados. She is a breeze to put down for naps and bedtime, eats like a champ, and is now sporting her 7th tooth (four on the top, three on the bottom). She makes our home so much brighter just by being in it and we love watching her grow and develop into the cutie pie that she is! Happy 14 months, Smiley Isley!
