The End of a Preschool Journey

Mackenzie has officially graduated from preschool and we honestly can't believe where the time has gone. Less than two years ago we introduced her to this new adventure called school, and she started off a bit hesitant, shy, and at times emotional. Now she has ended her last year of preschool and she is more confident, strong, and intelligent as ever! We cannot say enough amazing things about her school and just feel an incredible amount of gratefulness for starting her educational path on such a positive and energetic note! Mackenzie, we are so unbelievably proud of you! You have blossomed these past two years and are so excited for all the new adventures that lay ahead of you! You are going to rock Kindergarten and we can't wait to witness it all! Congratulations, Mackenzie!

The last day of school was spent at Kenmore park! The kids had so much fun running around and playing on the playground! They had a little picnic together and then were presented with super cute medals. Mackenzie received the Hershey Kiss award for being as sweet as chocolate! It was the perfect ending to a great year!

Last night was Mackenzie's graduation from preschool and what an amazing event it was! There were four graduating classes and they all were just adorable as they sang songs and walked across the alter to get their certificates. Jimmy and I were just two beaming parents! We are so blessed to be apart of this preschool family and are so excited to continue to be apart of it as Isla will be joining the school next year! Mackenzie will most definitely miss all of her teachers and friends!

Frozen Fever Party!

We celebrated Mackenzie turning five with a Frozen Fever themed birthday party (Frozen Fever is a spin off of the ever popular Frozen movie)! It was a gorgeous day where the majority of the party was spent outside! We had hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and got to watch the kids play for over 3 hours in the new outdoor playhouse!  Unfortunately, Nana and PopPop, the Shortt family, and Kevin and Courtnie, were all unable to make it as they were dealing with different illnesses. Their presence was definitely missed and we wish them all a speedy recovery! We still had a blast with MomMom and PopPop and the Shaw family, and we thank them for making it the "perfect day" for our birthday girl!
