Look Whooo's Turning One!
Yesterday we celebrated Isla's first birthday by having our family over for an owl themed birthday party! Both sets of grandparents and the Shortt crew were there, and uncle Kev, aunt Jenna, and uncle Nick celebrated from afar. Smiley Isley lived up to her name as she never stopped smiling and loved all the fanfare! She was not shy about eating her cake, opening presents, or being the star of the show! A big thank you to our parents who helped us prepare for the special day and to Aunt Kris who served as the professional photographer! We can't believe our little ladybug will be one on Wednesday and what better way to welcome her into toddler-hood than to be surrounded by the people she loves! We had a HOOT of a time!
