Video's...finally!

I was FINALLY able to download video's onto my computer! Mackenzie was baptized 2 months ago, but I still thought it was a sweet video to post! The other two were taken this past week! Enjoy!

Mackenzie has recently learned how to roll from her belly to her back! YAY Kenzie!

Mackenzie is fascinated with her hands. She loves not only her own but others too!

First Timer

This past week has been a week of firsts! It was Mackenzie's first Halloween, first time feeling grass and leaves, first time rolling from her belly to her back (she now rolls both ways, yay!), and the first time she has been able to sit on her own! She is still a bit wobbly, but she is definitely getting the hang of it! Mommy also experienced something new this week. For the first time, I saw my sweet little girl as a maturing baby and not a small infant. I must admit I shed a tear when I came to this realization. She is growing in leaps and bounds, and we have to remind ourselves to take in each day because they go by so quickly. We are truly blessed with one special little girl!

Look at me sitting up so straight and tall!

Enjoying the nice day with Lupa (right after this picture was taken Lupa decided to tinkle right next to the blanket..oh, the joy of a dog!)

She was so fascinated with grass!

Party time!

Mackenzie has done her fair share of partying these past few weekends! Mackenzie's friend, Brandon, turned a year old and we were so honored to share in the celebration! Brandon's mommy and daddy are good friends of ours from college, and we know Mackenzie and Brandon will be the best of friends too!

The partying continued with Mackenzie's first Hokie tailgate! The weather was absolutely perfect and we had so much fun showing off our little hokie! We know there will be many more fun tailgates in her future!

5 months old!

Our sweet baby girl is 5 months old today! Now that Mackenzie has been apart of our lives for 5 months, we can't imagine life without her. We have watched her blossom these past few months and I must say we are loving her current stage! She is incredibly cuddly, tries to make you laugh, talks up a storm, reaches and grabs for your face, and seems to always be smiling! Happy 5 beautiful months, Mackenzie Amelia!

Peas and Carrots!

The Pediatrician gave us the go ahead to start trying solid foods! It has been such a fun family activity! I feed Kenzie as Jimmy snaps the pictures. She still isn't too sure about the whole process and most of it ends up on her face rather than in her mouth, but she LOVES sitting in her highchair! We even made up a little jingle to help cheer her on while she eats!

(Theme song to Married with Children)
"Peas and carrots, peas and carrots, go together like apples and bananas, this I tell ya Kenzie, you can't have one without the other!"

"Someone HELP me!"

"Are they serious with this stuff?"

"I'm smiling because it's over!"
We tried rice the night before and this was her reaction...

"Seriously?"
